About

Steve Scott (he/him/his) is the former Producer and current Artistic Associate of the Goodman Theatre; during his fifty-year career he has directed over 300 plays for theaters in Chicago, nationally and internationally. He is a member of the faculty of the Theatre Conservatory of the Chicago College for Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and has also taught at the Theatre School at DePaul, Northwestern, Loyola, and Columbia College Chicago. For his work he has received six Jeff nominations, an After Dark Award, a Special Jeff Award for career achievement, and the League of Chicago Theatre's Lifetime Achievement Award.
