Kathy Ruhl

About

Kathy Ruhl (she/her/hers) has been acting in Chicago since (yikes!) the late 60ies: the old Court Theatre, the new Court Theatre, Timeline, Chicago City Players, Writer's Theatre, Stage Left, Shattered Globe, Piven, Attic Playhouse, Kingston Mines and several others as well. She's been nominated for non-Equity Jeff Awards several times and won in the Supporting category for "Dolly West's Kitchen" at Timeline. She has been happily working regularly at Redtwist Theatre since 2012. Her two wonderful daughters and their husbands have provided her with 6 awesome grandchildren. She likes going to school and after a BA (Smith College) and an MFA (University of Chicago), was awarded a PhD (UIC) the year she turned sixty something. She feels like a very fortunate person.
