A
stunningly powerful and provocative drama based on actual events, A Walk in the Woods
probes the most important issue of our time--the very survival of
civilization.
Andrey Botvinnik is a charming, worldly and glib Russian. John Honeyman
is a stuffy but passionately idealistic American. The two men sit on a
bench in the middle of the woods near Geneva. One wants to talk about
Willie Nelson and friendship. The other keeps bringing the conversation
back to the purpose of their meeting--to hammer out a nuclear
arms-control agreement between the two super powers. After 20 years in
print, A Walk in
the Woods hasn't lost its relevance to world events.
The conversation continues today.
