Marvin’s
Room

The Play
This instant Chicago cult-classic achieved worldwide acclaim after the
death in 1992 (from AIDS) of playwright Scott McPherson. Described as a
comedy about death and dying, it is actually a goofy and dazzling drama
about the joys of love and living. Michael Ryczek, Academic Manager of
the Theatre Department of Columbia College, and President of the Board
of Season of Concern, takes the reins as director. Redtwist Theatre’s
leading lady, Jan Ellen Graves, tackles the role of Bessie.
