Clybourne Park
by Bruce Norris
Directed by Steve Scott

Oct 5 - Nov 24, 2013
Previews Oct 2-4, 7:30pm
The first Chicago storefront production of
the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama
A thematic descendant of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun,  this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is a merciless satire on American race relations, targeting a quaint Chicago neighborhood. Act I focuses on the cozy post-war era in 1959 when a black family is moving into an all-white community. Act II takes us back to the exact same house 50 years later, when a white family begins the gentrification of a now black community.

Featuring Redtwist leading man and Jeff-Award-winner, Brian Parry, and company members, Jan Ellen Graves and Michael Sherwin
